Christianity&Idol Worship

I am writing about this topic because it has become very close to my heart at the last-minute.

According to Matthew 6:24- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.

This verse is very clear and distinctive when it comes to not serving two masters. If The Bible tells us that we can’t serve two masters then why are we serving two masters. A lot of people , especially New Agers, like to say they like to think of all the gods as one big happy family.

That is a belief that is straight from the fire pits of hell ! I know that may sound harsh but I can ensure you that Athena (The Greek virgin god of reason and intelligent activity .)is not in heaven with the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

 

Oprah Winfrey, one of the most popular supporters of this New Age doctrine of demons , may tell you that all gods are the same but The Bible , the book that has stood the test of time says otherwise.

John 14:6 says Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jesus said loud and clearly in that verse that he is the ONLY way you will get into heaven. Jesus never said that if you feed the hungry children in third world counties that will ensure you an entry into heaven . Although God loves it when we take care of each other that he tells us that we can not get into heaven by doing earthly goods(He says this in Matthew 7:21-27).

Matthew 7:21-27 says “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?

’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

I know that verse just ruined someone’s theology but don’t be upset with me I did not put those words in The Bible. When I say ruined someone’s theology I mean some denominations put more of an emphasis on earthly works than they do salvation and that is not biblical.

Unlike humans God knows the heart ;He knows A LOT of people only do good things on earth because of the praise they will receive but he tells us that if we do good works we SHOULD NOT boast about them (2 Corinthians 10:12-18)

2 Corinthians 10:12-18 says-Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves.

But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding. But we will not boast beyond limits, but will boast only with regard to the area of influence God assigned to us, to reach even to you.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ. We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others.

But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged, so that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another’s area of influence.

It is very crucial that people are aware that we are in the end of times and their will be many doctrines of demons that will come out and unfortunately people will follow them according to 1 Timothy 4:1.

(If you notice the cross is upside down which is an insult to Christ. Only non-believers wear their crosses upside down , a REAL and AUTHENTIC Christian would not disrespect Jesus like this.)

SATANISM is DEFINITELY in Catholicism .

1 Timothy 4:1 states Now the Spirit says clearly that in the last times some people will abandon the faith by following deceitful spirits, the teachings of demons.

Just because The Bible says people will follow doctrines of demons does not mean that we as Christians can’t share the word with as many Christians as possible. When you are watching televangelists (preachers on TV) make sure they are preaching the same gospel that is found in The Bible.

If they are preaching a feel good message or a prosperity message then you know you are watching something Satanic. Anything that goes against God’s word is Satanic.

The next time you hear someone say they worship Jesus and a false god then you know they are taking part of a doctrine of demons. Jesus has ALL the power he does not need the help of an idol god ( a demon).

A lot of so-called “Christians ” will say they love Jesus all day long but when you go to their home they have something related to another religion in their home. Having a Buddha statue in your home or office and calling yourself a Christian is like saying their is a peaceful war it makes no sense!

Originally I was not even planning on doing a post but God spoke this message and another one to my heart (I’m not saying that all of my other posts aren’t inspired by God.) so I had a strong will to post both of them tonight .

I want to discuss idol worship a little bit before I end the post. When I say the word idol you’re probably thinking of another god(an idol god) but let me explain. The definition of idolatry is the worship of idols.

When you bow down to statues, pictures, objects, etc. you are worshiping it .

Exodus 20:1-15 says And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before me.

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me.

That Bible verse is so clear about not worshiping statues. In one of my previous posts named , “Vaccines and How do I get into Heaven ” I go deeply in detail about this subject and I talk about it in other posts so feel free to read about this subject.

The reason I want to discuss this is because people are calling themselves Christians when they are actually Satanists. If you are worshiping any thing else besides Jesus Christ it’s Satan.

I know I am going to upset some people by saying this but Mary got saved in The Bible and she publicly announced Jesus as her Lord and Savior.Mary does not have a heaven or hell to put you in but Jesus does so why would someone worship her ? We should respect her but no where in The Bible does it say worship her .

Not all Catholics worship her but far TOO MANY of them do and I want to make sure they know they are informed before it’s to late.

As Americans we will DEFINITELY not have an excuse of why we haven’t accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior especially with all of the resources we have in this country.
