The Nephilims

The Nephilims

I think I have spelled it correctly but do we all remember in Numbers 13:13 where The Bible described the giants and how tall they were. Well when you Genesis 6:4 you get a more detailed decription. Im sure if you read the entire 6th chapter of Genesis you will get a better understanding of these giants.

Instead of doing a full post about The Giants ( The Nephilim ) I will post a link about how archaleogists have found the evidence of the Nephilim s by showing real pictures of their skulls and bones . The link is below, if you have any questions just leave a comment and I will get back to your comment ina decent time .

      1. Supposedly very intelligent. Here is some info that I found on them.

        Fallen angels
        Main article: Fallen angel

The New American Bible commentary draws a parallel to the Epistle of Jude and the statements set forth in Genesis, suggesting that the Epistle refers implicitly to the paternity of nephilim as heavenly beings who came to earth and had sexual intercourse with women.[17] The footnotes of the Jerusalem Bible suggest that the Biblical author intended the nephilim to be an “anecdote of a superhuman race”.[18]

Some Christian commentators have argued against this view,[19] citing Jesus’ statement that angels do not marry.[20] Others believe that Jesus was only referring to angels in heaven.[21] However, Genesis does not speak of marriage between the women and “the sons of God”.

Evidence cited in favor of the “fallen angels” interpretation includes the fact that the phrase “the sons of God” (Hebrew, בְּנֵי הָֽאֱלֹהִים; literally “sons of the gods”) is used twice outside of Genesis chapter 6, in the Book of Job (1:6 and 2:1) where the phrase explicitly references angels. The Septuagint’s translation of Genesis 6:2 renders this phrase as “the angels of God.”[improper synthesis?][22]

The Nephilim mentioned in Numbers 13:33 were not actually present at the time. They were the intentional false story given by spies to scare the rest of the Israelites: implying that Nephilim were well known by name, even though no one had ever seen them since they had been destroyed in the flood.

As for the paragraph above, the Nephilm gene could have been passed down by Noah, his wife, or either of his three sons’ wives. For instance, Goliath (slew by David) and his brothers were giants.

      2. I know what you mean, but I’ve found that there are truths in every lie, take what is relevant and discard the rest. If you dropped the last ice cubes during a heatwave, would you throw them away, or rinse them off?
